JOHNSTOWN — KUZMINSKY – Rita C., 87, formerly of Allegheny Lutheran Home, died Nov. 7, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 7, 1924, in Johnstown, daughter of William and Jane (Williamson) Killinger. Rita was the last survivor of her immediate family. Preceded in death by parents; husband of 31 years, Michael Kuzminsky Jr.; 12 siblings; and grandson, James M Smouse. Survived by children, June, married to Brian Hill, Robinson; Bernice, married to Duane Brown, Newark, Del.; Kenton Kuzminsky, and wife, Barbara (Halach), St. Clairsville, Ohio; Paul Kuzminsky, and wife, Claudia (Keyser), Newark, Del.; and Diane, married to Bill Morgart, Johnstown. Also survived by 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. During World War II, she made the sacrifice to quit school and become a welder in a factory that provided war supplies. Rita always had a smile for everyone and loved joking around. She was a longtime and avid bingo player. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street, where funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, the Rev. Robert Abarno.
