HAGERSTOWN, MD. — O’CONNOR – Joseph Kevin, 60, Hagerstown, Md., passed away Monday, Nov. 5, 2012, at his home. Born May 3, 1952, in Johnstown, son of the late Albert Leo O’Connor Jr. and Kathryn (Crilley) O’Connor. Mr. O’Connor was employed as a supplier quality engineer for Volvo/Mack Trucks, Hagerstown. Member of Haven Lutheran Church in Hagerstown, NRA and Waynesboro Rod & Gun Club. Survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Pamela T. (Hahn) O’Connor; sons, Daniel O’Connor, and wife, Jessica, Coatsville, Pa.; and Peter O’Connor, Hagerstown; twin grandchildren, Claire and Colin O’Connor; brothers, Albert O’Connor, and wife, Addie, Hagerstown; and Patrick O’Connor, and wife, Beth, State College, Pa.; sister, Myra Russell, Bradenton, Fla.; and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews. Joseph was a loving father and grandfather who loved to work on his Cub Cadet tractors, working in his yard, spending time in the woods and sitting around the campfire. He was a master of many skills and a dedicated friend to many. Memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 12, at Haven Lutheran Church, Hagerstown, Pastor Linda M. Alessandri, officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to service at the church. Memorial contributions may be made in Joseph’s name to Haven Lutheran Church, 1035 Haven Road, Hagerstown, Md. 21742. Rest Haven Funeral Chapel, Hagerstown, is in charge of arrangements.
