JOHNSTOWN — ROHAL – Martha Irene, 86, West End, died Nov. 11, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 3, 1926, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Ann (Suhay) Tkach. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Joseph Rohal; daughter, Janet Marie; sisters, Ann Hostetler, Mary Pawlak, Elizabeth Rok, Margaret Pawlak, Veronica Mikula and Helen Sobditch; and brothers, John, Michael, Alex and Steve Tkach and Peter Kotch. She was the last survivor of her immediate family. Survived by loving children, Patricia Ann, married to Daniel Jones, Ligonier; and Daniel Joseph Rohal, married to the former Susan Catanese, Johnstown; and grandchildren, Alex Rohal and Chris Wharton. Member of St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church Cana Sodality. Martha loved to cook and garden. She especially loved to spend time with family by going out for dinner. At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing or visitation. Friends and family are asked to attend funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church, the Rev. Monsignor Raymond Balta. Committal, Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in memory of Martha Rohal. Arrangements by Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street.
