WINDBER — VENZON – Mrs. Albina M., 98, Windber, passed away Nov. 14, 2012, at Arbutus Park Manor & Retirement Center. Born July 11, 1914, in Windber, daughter of late Paul and Mary (Calabrese) Biasella. Also preceded in death by husband, John M. “Pope” Venzon; sisters, Josephine Carosello, Sundie McCuch, Theresa Kaisner and Edith Bell-Biasella; and brothers, James Bell-Biasella and Albert Biasella. Survived by children, Mary Kay, wife of Curt Manges; and John, married to the former Donna Seese, both of Windber. Grandmother to Curt Manges Jr., married to the former Lori Doles, Ashville, Ohio; and Anthony Venzon, Monroeville; and great-grandmother to Morgan Moretti and John Paul “Jack” Manges. Sister of Isadora, wife of Adam Calderone, Boswell. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Albina enjoyed cooking and taking care of her family and home. She was proud of her Italian heritage. She was employed part time at Windber Area School District. Member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, Windber, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, TOR Franciscans. Committal, church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.
