SOMERSET — CRIMONE – Virginia, 91, Somerset, died Nov. 13, 2012, at Somerset Hospice House. Born Aug. 17, 1921, in Fiume di Nisi, Sicily, Italy, daughter of the late Joe and Venera (Fidi) Barbera. Also preceded in death by husband, Russell Carl “Ratsy” Crimone; son, Dr. Samuel M. Crimone; and sister, Josephine Polakoski. Survived by son, Joseph J. Crimone, and wife, Victoria, Somerset; four grandsons; four great-grandchildren; and brothers, Nathaniel and John Barbera. Virginia worked until her retirement as co-owner and operator with her husband of Ratsy’s Restaurant, Somerset, for 39 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where vigil for the deceased will be conducted at 1:45 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Somerset, Father Daniel J. O’Neill, celebrant. Committal Somerset County Memorial Park. (www.haugerzeigler.com)
