PORTAGE — SOLTIS – Andrew, 86, Maple Winds, Portage, died Dec. 21, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 18, 1926, in Emeigh, son of the late John and Ann Soltis. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family, having been predeceased by siblings, Ann Soltis Stanovic, John Soltis, Mike Soltis and Joseph Soltis. Survived by nephews, Ron Stanovic, Eastlake, Ohio; and Ken Stanovic, New Castle, Del. Andrew was a World War II Army veteran, and had worked as a miner. Friends will be received from noon until the time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., Johnstown, Father Clarence Bridges, officiating.
