CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP — ANDERSON – Frances “Fritz,” 91, Conemaugh Township, died Jan. 1, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 17, 1921, in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Ivy (Anstead) Wilson. Preceded in death by husband, George Anderson, in 1991; sister, Mary Jane Wilson Rounds; brother, John “Jack” Franklin Wilson; and son-in-law, Jacob “Jake” St. Clair. Survived by daughters, Jan Anderson St. Clair and Susan Jean Anderson; grandson, Jacob William St. Clair; and granddaughter, Shannon Marie St. Clair Berkebile, and husband, Tony, all of Conemaugh Township. Also survived by sister-in-law, Inez Wilson; nephews, John Wilson III, and wife, Kelly; Robert Wilson, and wife, Ellen; and David Wilson, and wife, Cheryl, all of North Carolina; and dear lifelong friend, Jean Griffith. Fritz was a physical education and health teacher at Ferndale Area School District. Member of First Lutheran Church, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Eleanor Abarno, officiating. Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Thursday and from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. Fritz wanted her memorial celebration to be a celebration of her life. Please celebrate with her family in her honor.
