CONEMAUGH TOWNSHIP — LEHMAN – Lawrence E. Sr. “Red,” “Larry,” 68, Conemaugh Township, Cambria County, passed away unexpectedly Jan. 6, 2013. He was born April 3, 1944, in Johnstown, son of Earl J. and Pearl A. (Bowers) Lehman. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Ronald and Neal. He is survived by his son, Lawrence Jr., Richland Township; brother, Robert D., married to the former Joy Weaver, Windber; best friend and companion, Donna M. Naugle, Conemaugh Township, Cambria County; sister-in-law, S. Ruth Lehman, East Taylor Township; several nieces, nephews and several special family members and God children. Larry was a graduate of Johnstown High School. He was employed by various businesses in the area, including Suppes Sales, Bethlehem Steel, Bishop McCort High School, James Excavating and later retired from Conemaugh Hospital. Larry was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church; president of SNPJ Lodge 254; and steward of the SNPJ Club 254. He loved camping, bowling, working on VW’s and spending time at the SNPJ with his friends. Larry will be remembered for his generous nature. Friends will be received from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Baker-Harris Funeral Chapel, Conemaugh, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Father Bernard Karmanocky, OFM. Committal, Dunmyer Cemetery.
