VINTONDALE — SHEESLEY– Barbara Ann (Kuhar) “Barbie,” 64, Vintondale, went to be with the Lord Jan. 10, 2013, at Pittsburgh Presbyterian Hospital. Born Aug. 27, 1948, in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Stella (Abromavich) Kuhar. Preceded in death by husband, Gary Lee Sr., and daughter, Melissa Ann Sheesley. Survived by sons, Gary Lee Jr. (Valerie); Brian Keith (Tracie); and John Leslie (Diane); grandchildren, Gary Lee III, Alexander, Joshua, Johnny, Kaylee, John-Caleb, Dakoda, Daniel, Jordan, Sadie and Destinie. Sister of John Jr. (Rosemarie); James; Thomas (Cheryl); Steve (Peggy); Kathy (Michael) Rose; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of the former SS. Timothy & Mark Chapel, Vintondale. Barbie enjoyed cooking and bird watching. She always lived her life for her children and grandchildren and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where vigil prayer service will be held. Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Martin Cingle, celebrant. Committal, St. Charles Cemetery, Twin Rocks. In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbie’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society.
