GALLITZIN — BUKOWSKI – Jennie T., 86, Gallitzin, died Jan. 14, 2013, at her home. Born Jan. 21, 1926, in Gallitzin, daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Izrael) Bukowski. Preceded in death by Joe and Anthony Latoche, Ann Corle, Viola Cella, Mary Keever, Nellie Dunda, Rosie and Vicky Guzic, Pauline Vendryck and John Bukowski. Survived by children, Mario “Butch” (Debbie), Gallitzin; Mary Ann (Tim) Clossin, Altoona; John “Sonny” (Bonnie), Gallitzin; and Robbie, Gallitzin; grandchildren, Tonya, Keith (Jackie), Sabrina, Tammy, Timothy (Gina), Tara (Leo), Travis, Jessica (Mike), Venessa, John Paul and Joshua; great-grandchildren, Kane, Spencer, Desiree, Devon, Derrek, Brandon, Bryce, Brianna, Timothy, Zack, Izaac, Allison and Lexi; special nieces, Kitty and Barb; special nephew, John Bukowski; sister-in-law, Leona Bukowski, Johnstown; and numerous other nieces and nephews. Jennie worked as a seamstress for Antmart and Publix Shirt factories, was a foster grandparent for more than 20 years and chairwoman of International Ladies Garment Union. Member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, the Rev. Albert Ledoux, celebrant. Committal, St. Mary Cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin, where vigil service will be held Wednesday.
