HASTINGS — WESTOVER – Dorothy A., 81, Hastings, formerly of Westover, died Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Golden Living – HAIDA. Born Aug. 16, 1931, in Barnesboro, daughter of the late Arville and Althea (DeHaven) King. Also preceded in death by husband, Dennis E. Westover, and sisters, Marjorie Westover and June Sweeney. Survived by daughters, Deborah (Lavan) Gray, Berryville, Va.; and Sally (Wayne) Hockenberry, Hastings; grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Bryan, Janelle and Kristie; and great-grandchildren, Kayla, Quintin, Landon, Chloe and Sam. Mrs. Westover was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church. Friends received from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hastings, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Michael Neff, officiating.
