Clarence W. Ling

VINTONDALE — LING – Clarence W., 76, Chickaree area of Vintondale, went to be with the Lord Feb. 13, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Jan. 14, 1937, in East Wheatfield Township, son of late Allen C. and Catherine R. (Marks) Ling. Also preceded in death by sister, Margaret Miller; in-laws, George and Mildred Reitler; and several aunts and uncles. Survived by the love of his life, Audrey (Reitler) Ling; the pride of his life, Jeff Ling, and wife, Teresa, New Florence; special nephew, Eric Reitler, who was more like a grandson, and his wife, Brittany, and their daughter, Raigan; several other nieces and nephews; great-nephews, Devon and Luke Noel; sister-in-law, Dolores Plowman, and husband, Jerry; special sister-in-law, Karen Nagy, and husband, Bill; sister-in-law, Deborah Noel; and brother-in-law, Pat Noel. He was a retired driver from W.C. McQuaide after 29 1/2 years. Owner and operator of C.W. Ling and Son U.S. Postal Contractor. He enjoyed traveling, visiting Pigeon Forge and Nashville, Tenn., and doing word finds. He was known as a “Walking GPS.” He attended Windber Church of the Brethren and was a member of Chickaree Union Church. A U.S. Army veteran. Friends received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday. Interment, Fairfield Cemetery, the Rev. Royden Airesman, officiating.
