SOMERSET — KUHLMAN – Jennie M., 98, Somerset, died Feb. 17, 2013, at The Patriot. Born May 3, 1914, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Anna Miklavich. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Harold E. Kuhlman, who died Jan. 29, 2003; son-in-law, Luis Gonzalez; sisters, Mary Mazza, Alice Helbling, Anna DeArment and Carolyn Rice; and two great-grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan. Survived by children, Joan Gonzalez, Johnstown; Harold Kuhlman, and wife, Elke, Seattle, Wash.; and William H. Kuhlman, and wife, Shirley, Somerset; grandchildren, Dr. Luis Gonzalez III, and wife, Stephanie, Johnstown; Jo Ellen Flatt, Hartford, Conn.; Ann Gibson, and husband, Kenneth, Johnstown; Daphane Platter, and husband, Anthony, Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. Karen Black, Crafton; Roger Kuhlman, and wife, Deborah, Ringwood, N.J.; and Steven Kuhlman, and wife, Amy, Sinking Springs; 14 great-grandchildren; and great-great-grandchild, Sergio Gonzalez. Jennie served on Mount Zion Lutheran Church Council and held the office of treasurer for many years. She served on the Somerset School District Board and Jefferson Township Election Board. Also life member of Bakersville Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She worked as a teacher’s aide at Maple Ridge School. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013, at Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, the Rev.
