JOHNSTOWN — ELERSIC – Mrs. Bertha A., 83, Johnstown, passed away Nov. 18, 2012, at home. Born June 17, 1929, in Johnstown, daughter of Clyde and Margaret (Selapack) Troup. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William F.; and brothers, Clyde M. Jr. and Daniel Troup. Survived by children, Donna Kosher, and fiance, Joseph Feeney, Johnstown; Diana Bassett, New Jersey; William F. Elersic Jr., Johnstown; Mary Lee Elersic and Dean George, South Fork; and Ann Marie, wife of Gerald Bennington, Maryland; grandchildren, Michael Kosher; William Elersic, and friend, Erica; Alan Bassett, and friend, Katrina; Gregory Elersic; Michelle George; and Robert Elersic, and friend, Michele; and great-grandson, Mason Lee Elersic. Sister of Margaret, wife of Richard Sobczyk, California. Also survived by special friends, Carolyn and Tom. Bertha enjoyed spending time with her family and also listening to polka. She will be sadly missed. Friends received from 2 p.m. until time of memorial service at 5 p.m. Saturday at Bertha’s residence, 345 Park Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15902, the Rev. Gary Tustin, officiating.
