JOHNSTOWN — KRISAY – Steve, 92, Johnstown, died Nov. 29, 2012, at Laurel View Village. Born June 10, 1920, in Johnstown, son of the late Joseph and Theresa Krisay. Preceded in death by wife, Betty Lou (Horner) Krisay, on June 9, 1991; and son, Martin Krisay. Survived by daughter, Janet, married to Donald Gillman; and son, Guy K., married to the former Patricia Clites, all of Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren, Laura (Gillman), married to Tim Stutzman; Lynn (Gillman), married to Jason Brehm; Wes Krisay, and wife, Alexis; and Chelsey Krisay; great-grandchildren, Lleyton and Langdon Stutzman; sister, Theresa Salem, Johnstown; and special brother-in-law, Clarence ”Jack” Horner, Johnstown. Steve was a World War II Army veteran, a Johnstown City fireman for 33 years and was a member of the City of Johnstown Firemen’s Association. In addition, he and his son, Guy, established Krisay’s Appliance and Bedding. To Steve, work wasn’t a chore, it was to be enjoyed; customers were friends, first and foremost, and family was to be loved. At the request of the family, there will be no public visitation, however, family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 7 p.m. Sunday at Laurel View Village, 2000 Cambridge Drive, Davidsville, the Rev. Wes Yoder, officiating. Entombment, Grandview Mausoleum. The family would like to thank the entire staff of Laurel View Village for their loving care and compassion for their dad.
