JOHNSTOWN — BLOUGH – Clara E. (Erdley), 86, Johnstown, passed away Dec. 1, 2012, at LaurelWood Care Center. Born Nov. 13, 1926, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Valentine and Priscilla (Turoczy) Erdley. Preceded in death by husband, Myron E., to whom she was married for 37 years; sisters, Janet Rillo and Ann Spenik; brothers, William and Paul Erdley; brothers-in-law, Cosmo Rillo, George Spenik and John Gost Sr.; and sisters-in-law, Betty Erdley and Delores Erdley. Survived by sister, Eleanor Gost; brother, Robert Erdley; nieces and nephews, Richard Rillo, and wife, Mary Lou; Janet Pringle, and husband, Clay; David Spenik, and wife, Susan; Dennis Erdley, and wife, Cheryl; Diane Dixon, and husband, Ken; Patricia Rubenstein, and husband, Dr. Adam; John Gost; Marty Erdley, and wife, Vicki; and Randy Erdley, and wife, Suzanne; and two special cousins, Helen Law, and Charlotte MacMurdo, and husband, James. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, the Rev. Dr. James Devorick, officiating. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Clara’s spirit is now at peace with the Lord. Thanks to the entire staff at LaurelWood and a special thanks to the Grane Hospice for making Clara’s health problems more tolerable. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made at Grane Hospice, 100 Woodmont Road, Johnstown Pa. 15905 or First Christian Church, corner of Vine and Levergood streets.
