WALLING – Mrs. Teresa R. “Terry,” 83, Windber, died Dec. 1, 2012, at home. Born Jan. 24, 1929, in Johnstown, daughter of Michael and Ann (Smeed) Gallagher. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Samuel Edwin Gleissner; second husband, John Walling, to whom she was married 38 years; sister, Marie Leckey; and brothers, Melvin Gallagher, Sherman Jones and James Gallagher. Survived by daughter, Gloria J., wife of Perry Mock, Windber; grandchildren, Sherry, wife of Jim Dayton, Windber, and Brian Mock, Pittsburgh; and great-grandchildren, Joshua and Andrew Mock and Laikyn Dayton. Sister of Joann Parson, Northern Cambria. Also survived by special nieces, Nancy Roth and Debbie Robertson. Member of former Ferndale Auxiliary and Senior Center for Life where she made many friends. Former employee of former Penn Traffic Co. dining room for 20 years. She loved her family, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her little dog, Sugar. She was an avid bingo player at St. Anthony’s. Member of SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Father George Gulash, pastor. Committal, Grandview Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Meek & Dalla Valle Funeral Home Inc., Windber, where vigil for the deceased will be held.
