HICKORY, N.C. — SHIELDS – Maryann Danko, 71, passed away Nov. 21, 2012, at her residence in Hickory, N.C. She was the daughter of the late Michael Danko and Mary Tesluk Danko, Conemaugh Township. Maryann is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dallas Shields; son, Aaron Shields, and wife, Christine, Hamburg, N.Y.; daughter, Erika Morgante, and husband, Dr. Patrick Morgante, Hickory, N.C.; sister, Betty Rimoldi, and husband, Nello Rimoldi, Brandon, Fla.; and grandchildren, Madeline Morgante, Lauren Morgante, Alexander Shields and Zachary Shields.
