MARTINSBURG R.D. — BLOOM – Mary R., 90, Martinsburg R.D., died Dec. 6, 2012, at Homewood Home. Born March 4, 1922 in Salix, the daughter of Harry and Ida (Kelly) Kring. Married Louis D. Bloom on Jan. 25, 1943, in Johnstown. He died July 4, 2003. Also preceded in death by son, Lyle D., in August. She was a member of the Woodbury Church of the Brethren and was a dedicated pastor’s wife. Survived by daughter, Martha R. Bloom, Romney, W.Va.; son, Louis D. Jr., Shellsburg; two grandchildren and one great-grandson. Friends received from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 9, at the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, Woodbury, and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Monday at Woodbury Church of the Brethren, Pastor Larry Graybill and Pastor Mark Muthler.
