Joann Sutter

NEW FLORENCE — SUTTER – Joann, 77, New Florence, passed away Dec. 11, 2012, at home. Born May 10, 1935, in Johnstown, daughter of the late James D and Naomi (Douglass) Galbraith. Also preceded in death by husband, Edward W. Sutter; special nephew, Jim; and great-niece, Nicole. Survived by children, Beth Ann Sitman, and husband, Robert; and Edward D., and wife, Karel (Saloka), both of New Florence; and grandchildren, Brandon Sitman, and fiancee, Jennie Cambria, Roanoke, Va.; and Andrew Sutter and Kelsey Sutter, both of New Florence. Sister of Mary Rager, and husband, Joseph, New Florence; James Galbraith, and wife, Gilda, Bolivar; Douglas Galbraith, and wife, Leanna, Alliance, Ohio; Peggy Copper, and husband, Donald, New Florence. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, New Florence, where she was active in Trinity Women’s Circle. Friends received from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Ronald Durika and the Rev. Barry Young, co-officiating. Interment, Armagh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
