COVER HILL — GRAY– Elaine “Dolly,” 88, Cover Hill, died June 23, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 5, 1924, in Daisytown, daughter of Joseph and Margaret (McGuire) Byers. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Lt. Col. Walter “Jack,” who died in 2001; sister, Evelyn Freidhoff; and brothers, Clyde, Bernard and James Byers. Survived by loving children, Michael T. Gray, married to former Eileen Misosky, Richland; Jacqueline, widow of John Bala, Johnstown; Margaret “Peggy,” widow of Richard Seeley, Johnstown; and Lt. Col. Anthony S. Gray, married to former Linda Kohut, Hershey; grandchildren, Michael Todd Gray, and wife, Gini; Allison Elaine, and husband, Jay Stapes; Kimberly Ann, and husband, Ryan Smith; and Nissa, and husband, James Valdesalice; great- grandchildren, Makennah, Mikel and Marleigh Gray; Camden and Parker Stapes; Brady, Calli, Cassi and Remingtyn Smith; and Katherine, Rachael and Bruno Valdesalice. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at Geisel Funeral Home, 734 Bedford St., Johnstown, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Geisel-Devlin Funeral Chapel, the Rev.
