LOWER YODER TOWNSHIP — FARRA – Rick T., 65, Lower Yoder Township, died June 24, 2012, at home. Born June 27, 1946, in Johnstown, son of Thomas J. and Mary A. (Hropovich) Farra. Preceded in death by parents; son, Rick Farra II; sister, Cheryl A. Farra; and mother- and father-in-law, Earl and Mary Rush. Survived by wife of 42 years, Barbara (Rush) Farra, Lower Yoder Township; daughter, Natalie, married to James Dreier, Alexandria, Va.; and grandson, T.J. Dreier. Also survived by brother-in-law, Bill Rush, and wife, Janet, Maine. Graduate of Westmont High School and the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown. Retired District Justice (47-1-01) and former police chief of Lower Yoder Township. Former instructor for the Municipal Police Academy programs at IUP and Vo-Tech. Member of the F&AM Greater Johnstown Lodge 538. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or visitation. Arrangements by Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greater Johnstown Lodge 538 F&AM , c/o Masonic Lodge Secretary, 1725 Bedford St., Johnstown, Pa. 15902, or Cambria County Humane Society, 743 Galleria Drive Extension, Johnstown, Pa. 15904, in memory of Rick T.
