JOHNSTOWN — URBAN – Josephine “Jo” M., 81, Johnstown, died Nov. 14, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 19, 1931, in West Homestead, Pa., daughter of John and Mary (Wrobel) Shulkosky. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert J. Urban Sr.; and son, Robert J. Urban Jr. Survived by children, Joni Marie Urban, Johnstown; Vincent, married to the former Alice Barto, Alabama; Barbara Ann, wife of Rodney J. Smith; and Kathryn F., wife of Michael Antal, all of Johnstown; and Stephen M., married to the former Nadine Bane, Virginia; grandchildren, Heather Jo and Samantha Urban; Daniel (Michelle) and Stephen (Lauren) Urban; Jessica Smith (Joe Locher); R.J. (Steph) and Matthew (Kayla) Smith; Janice (Brian) Koontz; Zachary Antal; and Nicole and Aaron Urban; great-grandchildren, Sara and Evan Kowalewski; Charlie, Jessica and Adelynne Locher; Peyton Smith; Jacob and Kylie Smith; Lasaysia and Sayona Bush; and Willow Urban; brother, Raymond (Donna) Shulkosky, Munhall; and special friend and neighbor, Christine Nugent. Josephine was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church, where she was a member of Christian Mothers and was a Eucharistic minister and lector. She retired from First National Bank, where she was a teller. She also was a volunteer at Lee Hospital. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., 710 Broad St., where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Therese Catholic Church, Father Bernard Karmonocky, OFM. Committal, Grandview Cemetery. Family suggests that donations be directed to St. Therese Catholic Church Building Fund in memory of Josephine. Condolences can be sent to the family at ozogfh.com.
