WINDBER — LOMBARD – Joseph G., 42, Windber, passed away Jan. 3, 2012. Born March 10, 1969, in Chicago, Ill., son of Dennis and the late Gladys (Byrne) Lombard. Preceded in death by mother and brother, William Lombard. Survived by father, Dennis Lombard, and wife, Mary, Florida; wife of 16 years, Cynthia (Headrick) Lombard; stepdaughter, Ariana Lamer; sisters, Cathy, wife of Steve Aviles, Ohio; and Christine Lombard, Florida; and nieces and nephews, Brian, Rebecca and Emily Aviles; Cori Headrick; and Tyler and Karson Headrick; also godson, Skyler Stiles. Also survived by father- and mother-in-law, John and Bernadette Headrick, Beaverdale; brothers-in-law, John Headrick, and wife, Nancy; and Michael Headrick, and wife, Takako; sister-in-law, Jennifer, fiancee of Jon Fortney; and pets, Nellie and Penelope “Peen.” Joe was a huge fan of the Chicago Bears. He played the bass guitar and wrote his own music. During the years, he played in various bands. He was an employee of Lockheed Martin, Johnstown. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Friends received 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at William Kisiel Funeral Home, Windber, where funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday, the Rev. George M. Gulash, officiating.
