PATTON — KIELBOWICK – Anna Catherine (McMullen), 83, Patton, peacefully passed away Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born March 2, 1929, in Swedetown, Hastings, daughter of the late Philip McMullen and Mary Frances (Sodomon) McMullen. On Oct. 24, 1953, she married her husband, Thomas R. Kielbowick of Patton, who survives. Member of Queen of Peace Church, Patton. Lifetime member of the ladies auxiliary of Patton. She was a huge Pittsburgh Pirates fan. She loved baking and cooking, but most of all her grandchildren. In addition to her husband Thomas, she is survived by sons, David Kielbowick, Westover; and Thomas R. Kielbowick Jr., and wife, Mary Cay, Patton; daughters, Mary Louise Baylock, Patton; Barbara Brush, Cresson; Linda DeLarre, and husband, Ed, Patton; Kathy Connah, and husband, Donald, Patton; and Melissa Link, and husband, Duane, Dysart; brother, Richard McMullen, New York; 14 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers, Clarence, Marcellus, Philip and Jimmy McMullen; sisters, Helen Yeckley, Alice Itell, Agnes Treskey and Gertrude Shutco; and grandson, David Kielbowick Jr. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5, at McCabe Funeral Home, Patton, where additional viewing will be held from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at Queen of Peace Church, Benedictine Fathers, celebrant. Donations can be made to American Cancer Society or Christian Children’s Fund.
