HOLLSOPPLE — LEHMAN – Mable Naomi (Eash), 95, Hollsopple, died Nov. 20, 2012, at home. Born Feb. 23, 1917, in Hollsopple, daughter of Sem K. and Suie (Blough) Eash. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Ruth (Alva) Yoder, Elsie Sutter and Florence Thomas-Blough-Livengood (Charles Thomas and Orvin Blough); and brother-in-law, Henry Yoder. Survived by husband of 73 years, Owen T. Lehman; and children, Phyllis (Arthur) Collier, Floyd (Chris) Lehman and Timothy (Rosellen) Lehman. Also survived by grandchildren, Eric, Jill (Michael) Mazowiecki, Hattie Jo and Andrew; and great-grandchildren, John, Luke, Peter and Matthew Mazowiecki; and Benton and Aidia Lehman. Also survived by sister, Esther Yoder; brothers-in-law, Clayton Sutter and Guy Livengood; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Mable helped establish First Mennonite Church and was a member for many years. Member of Thomas Mennonite Church, where she served in many capacities in both churches. She had attended Saylor School and 1 1/2 years in a correspondence course in practical nursing in 1938. She was the family historian and enjoyed canning and freezing and reading to many children. A special thank you to Windber Hospice, especially Jessica and Andrea and all her neighbors and friends who gave her loving care. Family receiving friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Friday at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville, and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Thomas Mennonite Church, Pastor Wes Yoder and the Rev. Phillip King, officiating. Interment, Thomas Mennonite Cemetery. Those who wish please make donations to Windber Hospice.
