JOHNSTOWN — MASCHAK – Wayne Francis, 57, Brownstown, lost his battle with cancer Nov. 21, 2012. Born Aug. 8, 1955, son of Leo and Betts (Slavik) Maschak. Preceded in death by parents and brother, Gary. Survived by fiancee, Debra Layton; son, Raymond Layton, and fiancee, Tracy; granddaughters, Alexis and Alyssa Layton; brother, James Maschak; sister-in-law, Diane Maschak; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Wayne retired from Dietrich Industries and has worked the past few years at Doug’s Place and the Alumni. He enjoyed playing golf and time spent at his family hunting camp, “Camp Good Hope.” Family and friends will be received from 6 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Moskal Funeral Home, West End. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to the American Cancer Society.
