Agnes A. Bricca

HOLLIDAYSBURG — BRICCA – Agnes A. “Aggie,” 98, a resident of Garvey Manor, formerly of Gallitzin, died Dec. 1, 2012, at Altoona Hospital. Born Aug. 28, 1914, in Gallitzin, daughter of the late Carlo and Zelmira (Bertoccini) Fabbri. Preceded in death by her husband, William L., on Aug. 8, 1981; sisters, Theresa Roach, Alice Fabbri, Nellie Tragon and Louise Sprouse; and brothers, Gino and Fedo. Survived by children, Louis, married to Dolores Kowalczyk, New Windsor, Md., and Linda, married to Leo Benoni, Ebensburg; grandchildren, Gregory (Stacy) Bricca, Andrea Bricca, Anita (Paul) Lomax, Amy Benoni and Kara (Scott) Anderson; great-grandchildren, William and Emily Bricca, Addison and Trent Lomax and Tyler Anderson; and sisters, Victoria Gjurich and Eleanor Longosky, both of Gallitzin. Member of the Auxiliary to the Gallitzin American Legion and St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Albert Ledoux, celebrant. Committal, St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Cresson. Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Gibbons Funeral Home, 301 Church St., Gallitzin, where a vigil service will be held Thursday afternoon.
