OSTERBURG — MIGNOT – James D., 69, Osterburg, passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at home. He was born Feb. 13, 1943, in Philipsburg, son of the late Frank P. and Catherine C. (Ellis) Mignot. He married Patricia A. Levergood on April 9, 1966, in Johnstown. Surviving are his wife, Osterburg, and three daughters, Tracy J. Feather, and husband, Eric, Imler; Beth A. Mignot, New Paris; and Jamie J. Konecky, and husband, Greg, New Paris. Jim was one of eight siblings. Jim was a member of Claysburg Bible Church, King. He retired from Bedford Hospital in 2003, and previously was lab manager at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown, from 1977 to 1989. He was a 1961 graduate of Philipsburg-Osceola High School and a 1972 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown with a B.S. in biology. He served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed gardening, landscaping, hunting, fishing, reading and spending time with his family. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Claysburg Bible Church, 11751 William Penn Road, Imler, Pa. 16655. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with Pastor Keith Showalter, officiating. Interment, St. Mark’s Cemetery, King. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to his church. Arrangements by Leslie-Miller Funeral Home, Claysburg.
