BEAVERDALE — BERKEY– Kristi A., 22, Beaverdale, died Dec. 7, 2012, at her home. Born Dec. 18, 1989, in Johnstown, daughter of Cloyd and Shirley (Sharbaugh) Berkey. Preceded in death by her mother; maternal grandparents, Charles and Florence (Boerstler) Sharbaugh; and paternal grandfather, Homer Berkey. Along with her father, of Beaverdale, she is survived by a son, Karter; paternal grandmother, Nelda Berkey, Beaverdale; sister, Tammi Yeckley, and husband, Michael, Armagh; and aunts and uncles, Fred and Emma Ailes, Fayetteville, Pa.; the Rev. Wilbert Boerstler, Ferndale; and Roger and Rebecca Berkey, Sidman. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, and a 2008 graduate of Forest Hills High School. There will be no public visitation. A memorial service will be held at a later date. John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
