RICHLAND — NEMETH – Joseph Patrick, 52, Richland, passed away Aug. 4, 2012, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Elizabeth (O’Shaunassey) Nemeth, and devoted father of twin sons, Aidan Joseph and Owen Patrick. Preceded in death by father, Lawrence Nemeth. Survived by mother, Shelby Nemeth; brother, Lawrence; sister, Lori; and numerous cousins. Born Nov. 1, 1959, in Canton, Mich., he graduated with a degree in metallurgical engineering from the University of Michigan in 1981, and was employed for 20 years by Praxair Inc. in Miami, and most recently with Concurrent Technologies Corp. in Richland. He was an avid sportsman, enjoying scuba, fishing, hunting and golf. He will be fondly remembered and missed greatly by his family and friends. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial Mass in Joe’s memory to be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 18, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seaton Church, 605 Graham Ave., Windber. Private burial. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to The Scleroderma Foundation at www.scleroderma.org.
