HOLLIDAYSBURG — LEIDY – Lois Lucinda, 92, Hollidaysburg, formerly of Vinco, died Feb. 14, 2013, at her home for the last 14 years, the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg. She was born Feb. 27, 1920, in Jackson Township, daughter of the late George C. and Mabel C. (Findley) Leidy. She also was preceded in death by siblings, Paul, Emerson, Blaine, Wayne, Gerald, Faye and Wilma. She was the last of her generation, survived by nieces, Elaine Snellgrove, Lynnette Sievert and Sharon Todd, and nephews, David and Bruce Leidy. She was a faithful member of Vinco Brethren Church. Lois enjoyed the time she spent at the Lutheran Home, and the feeling was mutual as she was a joy to be around. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., the Rev. Wes Lewis officiating. Interment following at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. The family requests memorial donations be directed to Allegheny Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, 915 Hickory St., Hollidaysburg, Pa. 16648 or the Vinco Brethren Church, 123 Adams Ave., Mineral Point, Pa. 15942.
