Glenn Albert Constable

MURRELLS INLET, S.C. — CONSTABLE – Glenn Albert, 85, Murrells Inlet, S.C., died March 18, 2013, at home. Born March 20, 1927, in Johnstown, son of Donald Constable and Almeda (Kane) Constable. Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Victor James, Donald, Quentin, William and Richard; and grandchildren, Colleen (Havener) Keith and Rocky Lindley. Survived by widow, Lois (Gilkey); children, Bonnie (Marlin) Havener, New Bern, N.C.; Allan (Nancy), Murrells Inlet, S.C., with whom he resided; Darlene (Bob) Novak, Myrtle Beach, S.C.; Claudia (Randy) Lindley, Lake Jackson, Texas; and Joel (fiancee, Linda Klochak), Johnstown; 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren; also one great-great-grandson. Also survived by brother, Paul, Blasdell, N.Y.; and sisters, Jean Bidelman, St. Petersburg, Fla.; and Jackie Allen, Johnstown. Retired security officer of Merck Inc., Lansdale, Pa. Member and former Sunday school teacher of Albright United Methodist Church in Tanneryville. He served in the last Horse Calvary of the U.S. Army, having trained in Fort Riley, Kan., and stationed in Germany. Myrtle Beach Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In memory of Mr. Constable, the family requests donations be made to Beacon Hospice, 3959 Highway 17 By-Pass, Murrells Inlet, S.C., 29576.
