HORNERSTOWN — YOUNKER – Betty L., 85, formerly of Hornerstown, died June 29, 2012, at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Born Oct. 12, 1926, in Johnstown, daughter of George R. and Fannie M. (Blough) Lingenfelter. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert E. Younker, who died in 1983; brother, Harold Lingenfelter; and sister, Dorothy Miller. Survived by loving children, Linda, married to George J. Demchak, Richland, and Kathie, married to Clair E. Dickinson, Akron, Ohio; grandchildren, Julie Luszik, Andy Demchak, Matthew A. Dickinson, Erin Dickinson and Ashley Kennard; great-grandchildren, Sammy Luszik and Benjamin Dickinson-Van Buren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Johnstown. Sold Avon for more than 40 years. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at Geisel Funeral Home, 734 Bedford St., Johnstown. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Geisel-Devlin Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Janet Wensel officiating. Interment, Berkey Cemetery.
