CONEMAUGH — MATSON – Mary, Conemaugh, died peacefully Friday, Feb. 18, 2011, at the age of 98. Born to Susan and George Matson July 14, 1912. By her family, Mary was best known as Mame and was a devoted caretaker to all her siblings, nieces and nephews. Mame is preceded in death by her brothers, Al, Chuck, Frank, George and Mike, and sisters, Ann and Liz. She leaves to mourn her loss her sister, Helen Lambrinos, and many nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces and great-nephews. Mame’s humor and incredible generosity will leave a hole in many hearts. We are comforted by knowing she is now at home with the Lord. By request, there will be no public visitation. Those who wish may attend Funeral Divine Liturgy at 11 a.m. Monday, Feb. 21, 2011, at Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church, Conemaugh, the Rev. Robert K. Yetsko, TOR. Interment, church cemetery. Arrangements by Henderson-Makuchan Funeral Home, Conemaugh.
