JOHNSTOWN — CRAIG – Dorothy M. “Dottie,” 91, Johnstown, died March 9, 2013. She was born March 31, 1921, in Johnstown, daughter of the late John and Hazel (Miller) Beam. She also was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, J. Donald Craig, in 1989; brothers, Desmond Beam, and his wives, Elizabeth and Mildred; Matt Beam, and wife, Dolores; and Jack Beam, a World War II casualty; sister, Nell Lewis; and brothers- in-law, Harold Craig; Jack Craig, and wife, Doris; and Jack Cosgrove. Dottie is survived by her children, Darla J., and husband, Walter Kleinmeyer, and Paul Craig, and wife, Jo Ann; granddaughters, Kimberly Brumbaugh, Kandace Kleinmeyer, Tricia Kleinmeyer and Heather Sestili, and husband, David; grandsons, Jeffrey Craig, and wife, Sandra; Shawn Craig; Darin Craig, and wife, Mary; and great- grandchildren, Dustin Kopp, Tyler Brumbaugh, Kimberly Craig, Aaron Craig and Caleb Moore; stepgrandchildren, Denny Hott, Desiree Mills, Michael Hott and families. She also is survived by sister, Shirley Cosgrove; brother-in-law, Bill Lewis; and sister-in-law, Doris Craig and their families; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dottie was a lifelong member of Roxbury Church of the Brethren. She wasd an avid golfer, a 27-year member of both Oakbrook Golf Course and the Oakbrook Acorn Ladies Golf Association. She organized the “Atta Girl” Ladies Golf Association at Richland Greens and was a “solver” of the New York Times crossword puzzle. At her request, both visitation and service will be private, with interment at Richland Cemetery.
