CARROLLTOWN — WILLIAMS – Rose M., 61, Carrolltown, passed away March 9, 2013, after a courageous battle with breast cancer at Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital. Born Aug. 2, 1951, in Spangler, daughter of Leo and Catherine (Pittman) Murphy. Preceded in death by parents, and husband, Blaine C. Williams, who died Dec. 21, 2010. Survived by sons, Aaron R., married to former Heidi Hess, Altoona, and Nathan R., married to former, Crystal Hoffer, Patton; grandchildren, Alexis and Abigayle and Candice, Korrin, Ben and Robert; and three great-grandchildren. Sister of James (Sandy) Murphy, Bigler; Patrick Murphy, Patton; Leo (Shirley) Murphy, Hastings; Harry (Susan) Murphy, Northern Cambria; John Murphy, Johnstown; Theresa Deckard, Carrolltown; Tom Murphy, Ebensburg; David (Janell) Murphy; and George Murphy, both of Carrolltown. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Also from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Tuesday in the Boniface Wimmer Room at St. Benedict Church. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in church at 10 a.m., Father Jude Brady OSB, celebrant. Interment, St. Mary’s/St. George’s Cemetery, Patton.
