DAVIDSVILLE — HAUGHTON – Fred C., 89, Davidsville, died March 9, 2013, at Laurel View Village. Born May 29, 1923, in Bolton, England, son of John and Annie (Entwistle) Haughton. Preceded in death by parents, and first wife, Florence (Kaufman). Survived by wife of five years, former Frances Charlile; daughter, Cheri, married to Cecil Lucas, Davidsville; grandson, Jeremy, and wife, Nicki Lucas; and great-granddaughter, Kira Lucas, all of Pittsburgh. Also survived by stepdaughter, Jodi, Beaverdale, and several stepgrandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was a member of Tire Hill Church of the Brethren. He was an Air Force Veteran of World War II. He retired from the steel mill, was a stone mason and a jack of all trades. He was an avid car fan. No viewing at his request. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, at the Laurel View Village Chapel, Pastor Frank Yong, Pastor Wes Yoder and Pastor Jeffrey Bassett, officiating. Inurnment, Maple Spring Cemetery. Those who wish may make donations to the Caring Fund of Laurel View Village. Arrangements by George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.
