JOHNSTOWN — HORNER – Mildred L., 94, Johnstown, went to join her husband in the presence of the Lord Jan. 2, 2013 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 28, 1918, in Earnest, daughter of the late Ernest T. and Alice (Brown) Stranquest. Also preceded in death by husband, Lavelle, in 2002; sister, Virginia Pennel; and brothers, Duane Clair, Kenneth and Ernest Strandquest. Mildred was a devoted mother to son, Craig L. who survives, and his wife, the former Lori Brosius, Cresson. Also survived by brother, Ed Strandquest, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was a member of Vinco Brethren Church, which she loved dearly. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd., where funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, the Rev.
