SOMERSET — SHUMAKER – Donald G., 87, Somerset, passed on Jan. 10, 2013, at Somerset Hospital. Born Feb. 25, 1925, in Warrendale, son of the late George and Margaret (Speigel) Shumaker. He was the last surviving sibling of the family, which included three brothers and five sisters preceding him in death. Donald is survived by his wife of 62 years, Geneva (Frazier) Shumaker; sons, Dean A. Shumaker, Central City; and Ronald L. Shumaker, and wife, Kim, Windber; grandchildren, Seth Shumaker; Melissa Shaulis, and husband, Taylor; and Hailey Blackburn; and great-grandchildren, Noah, Eve and Ben Shaulis. Arrangements by Miller Funeral Home & Crematory, Somerset, are private at Mr. Shumaker’s request. Memorial contributions may be sent to Mary S. Biesecker Library, 230 S.
