LORAIN BOROUGH — LOHR – Kenneth Ray, 81, Lorain Borough, died Jan. 15, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Sept. 7, 1931, in Hooversville, son of David J. and Rella (Buchanan) Lohr. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Gerald, Rev. Morris Lohr and Fred. Survived by loving wife of 55 years, the former Leona Leventry; and sons, Daniel Ray (Melanie Wilson), Lincoln University; and Dennis Jay (Mary Frances Watson) and Douglas W. (Anne “Maggie” Havener), both of Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren, Candace Lohr, Derek Lohr, Miranda (Jim Ardary), Rena (Jorge Gutteridge), Josh Watson (Carin Landry), Gage Lohr and Alexis Lohr; and great-grandchildren, Andrea, Lance, Jacob, Haily, Rachel, Lucien, Christian, Aidan and Lincoln. Brother of Zella Naugle, Michigan; Dayton (Mildred Wain), Janet Gindlesperger, Geneva Brant and Jean (Millard Thomas), all of Hooversville; and Jerry, Waynesboro. Member of Moxham Lutheran Church and Tatman Run Hunting Club. He retired from Sani-Dairy. Army veteran of the Korean War, having served with the construction engineers. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Moxham Lutheran Church, the Rev. Dr. Robert Wagner. Entombment, Richland Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions to Moxham Lutheran Church or a charity of one’s choice.
