DORAN – Marie M. (Misenko), 87, Havertown, formerly of Nanty Glo, passed away Jan. 18, 2013, at Rebekah Manor, Portage. Born May 14, 1925, in Nanty Glo, daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Gernat) Misenko. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Doran; brothers, Charles, Stephen and Joseph Misenko; and sisters, Anne Bresnahan and Sister Margaret Mary Misenko. Survived by sisters, Catherine Kulish and Terry (James) Javois; brother, Thomas Misenko; and numerous nieces and nephews. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Nanty Glo, the Rev. Martin Cingle, celebrant. Committal, St. Mary’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to St. Mary’s Church. Arrangements be Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo.
