CUYAHOGA FALLS, OHIO — WAGNER – Dorothy L., 89, Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, died Jan. 26, 2013. She was born in Wilmore to parents, William A. and Meta M. Koch Crum on Dec. 20, 1923. Dorothy was a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church; Cuyahoga Falls Rifle and Pistol Club, achieving the rank of sharpshooter; the bowling league; and Secretary’s Guild of America and the International Society of Poets, where her poems were read at the Poetry Convention and Emporium in Hollywood, Calif. A copy of the poem hangs in the Hall of Honor in California, and her poems were published in the U.S. and England. Preceded in death by husband, Frank; grandson, Anthony Justin Wagner; and sisters, Ruth, Esther and Hazel. She is survived by son, Kenneth (Kris) Wagner, Toledo; daughter, Eileen (John) Chiera, Akron; grandchildren, Jonas, Thomas, Andrew, and Jamie (Alex) Chiera, Krista (Keith) Barber, Capt. Phillip (Lauren) Wagner, U.S.M.C. and Justin Petrosino (Wagner); and great-granddaughter, June Barber. Service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Billow Falls Chapel, 1907 23rd St., (corner of 23rd Street and Falls Avenue) with the Rev. Robert E. Linsz, officiating. Interment, Northlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
