CAIRNBROOK — MARGETIAK – Joseph, 89, Cairnbrook, passed away Feb. 4, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 12, 1923, son of Steven and Susan Margetiak. Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Julia (Soho); and children, Janis Krebs, wife of Ray Krebs, Chesapeake, Va.; Judith Mohn, wife of Robert Mohn, Bethel Park, Pa.; and Joseph Margetiak, and wife, Charlene, Norwalk, Ohio. Also survived by grandchildren, Kristie, wife of Richard Fredley; Ray Krebs III; Jennifer, wife of John Zunic; Kelly, wife of Adam Cassella; Josef Margetiak, married to Catherine; and Corine Margetiak. Joseph also is survived by great-grandchildren Katie, Nik, Scott and Zachary. Joseph proudly served in World War II with the Army Air Corps. Friends and family will be received from 4 to 8 Friday at Robert F. Mulcahy Funeral Home, 305 Central Ave., Central City, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday. Interment, SS. Peter & Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Maple Street, Central City, with graveside military rites by Central City American Legion and VFW posts. Donations may be made in Joseph’s memory to SS. Peter & Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, 881 Main St., Central City, Pa. 15926.
