CLYDE — McGINNIS – Phyllis G. “Midge,” 79, Clyde, passed away peacefully Feb. 6, 2013, at Breezy Point Senior Care, Black Lick. Born June 14, 1933, in Robinson, daughter of the late Edward Cleveland and Vina Rebecca (Boyles) Horner. Also preceded in death by husband, Charles E “Lefty” McGinnis; sisters, Freda Payne, Esther McClain, Margaret Tantlinger and Annabelle Ofman; and brothers, Robert, Roy and Richard Horner. Survived by children, Linda (William) Robinson, and their children, Kimberly Robinson and Michelle Bouch; Charlotte (Everett) Saxton, and their children, Ann Saxton, Nancy Saxton-Mattie and Paula Saxton; William (Diana) McGinnis, and their children, Jason and Christopher McGinnis; Randy McGinnis, and his children, Andy and Stacy McGinnis; Michael (Denise) McGinnis, and their children, Justin and Kaitlyn McGinnis; and Robert (Jennie) McGinnis; and great-grandchildren, Madison McGinnis, Amanda Wynn, Risecen McGinnis, Wayne Mattie and soon-to-be-born, Piper McGinnis. She was the last surviving member of the Edward Horner family. She was a wonderful cook and baker who was always ready to welcome and feed any visitor. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Richard C. Stuart Funeral Home, 392 E. Philadelphia St., Armagh, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Chaplain James Yater, officiating.
