Martha A. Partsch

JOHNSTOWN — PARTSCH – Martha A., 82, Johnstown, died peacefully surrounded by her children, Feb. 13, 2013, at Maple Winds Care Center, Portage. Born Aug. 9, 1931, in Conemaugh, daughter of the late Peter and Anna (Hranycznyi) Shandrowsky. Also preceded in death by husband, Herbert R., who died Dec. 18, 1999; brothers, Michael, John, Danny, John and Paul; and sisters, Pearl, Betty, Anna, Mary and Nattie. Survived by children, Herbert R., married to Pamela Rizzo; Daniel, married to Mary Frances Freidhoff; and Marcella, married to Gregory Kruper, all of Johnstown; and grandchildren, Herbert P., Angela, Danielle and Jonathan Partsch. Sister of Katherine Yasinosky. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Retired LPN from the former Lee Hospital after 30 years of service. Member of St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, Conemaugh. Friends will be received from 2 to 4  and  6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, where Parastas will be sung at 6 p.m. A brief service will begin at 8:30 a.m.  Saturday at the funeral home, followed immediately with funeral Liturgy at St. John the Baptist Orthodox Church, the Very Rev. Archpriest George Johnson. Interment, St. Michael Catholic Cemetery, St. Michael. Special thanks to all the staff at Maple Winds Care Center for the wonderful care provided to Martha and the family.
