SOUTH FORK — MOORE – Marlene L., 75, South Fork, formerly of Ehrenfeld, went to be with the Lord Feb. 17, 2013, at Windber Hospice. Born July 3, 1937, in South Fork, daughter of Andrew E. and Julia L. (Schrader) Gaydosh. Preceded in death by parents, and brothers, Michael, Edward and Sylvester. Survived by husband of 57 years, John H. Moore, whom she married Sept. 26, 1955; sons, John, married to Kathy Bopp, Aurora, Ohio, and James, married to Jodi Miklos, Roanoke, Va.; daughter, Janice, wife of Joe DiGirolamo, Charlottesville, Va.; grandchildren, John, and wife, Erin; Kevin and Julie Moore; Jill, and husband, Nathan Long; Jacob Moore; and Michael, Jenna and Mia DiGirolamo; great-grandchildren, Ava Moore and Riley Long; and sister-in-law, Catherine Gaydosh, Salem, Ohio. Marlene was a graduate of South Fork Croyle High School, Class of 1955. She served as tax collector for Ehrenfeld Borough for many years, worked for the former Homer George Insurance Agency and was a customer service representative for PRR Federal Credit Union, South Fork. Member of First United Methodist Church, South Fork, and South Fork Lions Club. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where the South Fork Lions Club will conduct a memorial service at 7 p.m. Viewing at First United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. John Weaver. Interment, South Fork Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Windber Hospice, 600 Somerset Ave., Windber, Pa. 15963.
