SOUTHMONT — KAUFMAN – Helen, 90, Southmont, died Nov. 8, 2012, at McCullough House. She was born March 8, 1922, in Poland, daughter of the late John and Frances (Poznanski) Wojnarowski. Preceded in death by husband, Peter, in 1987; brothers, Joseph and Alex; and sisters, Mary and Elizabeth. Survived by son, Larry Kaufman, Dana Point, Calif.; daughter, Connie, married to John Bechtold, Johnstown; grandchildren, Katheryn, Columbia, Md., and Philip, and wife, Larissa, Pittsburgh. Also survived by sister, Cecelia Pisczak, Johnstown. Helen was a member of the former Assumption Church of the BVM, Conemaugh, where she was a member of the St. Cecelia Choir. At Helen’s request, funeral service will be private. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Medi Home Hospice, 709 Franklin St., Suite 101, Johnstown, Pa. 15901.
