A 1970 graduate of Portage Area High School and attended Pennsylvania State University. As president of Leman Machine Co. Inc., he found it to be his duty to support the surrounding community. He served as past treasurer and member of Portage Area Joint Recreation Commission and caretaker for Crichton-McCormick Park Pool, which was recently renamed the Stuart E. He loved his country and was a lifetime member of NRA. Friends will be received from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Mountain Avenue, Father Joseph Janiszeski, TOR, celebrant.
