HOMER CITY — GRAHAM – Charles D., 68, Homer City, formerly of Johnstown, died Nov. 10, 2012. Born Dec. 12, 1943, in Johnstown, son of the late Charles E. and Mildred M. (Teeter) Graham. Also preceded in death by granddaughter, Samantha. Survived by wife, the former Susan M. (Slippy) Graham; children, William J. Graham, and wife, Brenda; Shelly C. Lanning, and husband, Guy; and Brian E. Graham, and wife, Carrie; grandchildren, Christy Normand, and husband, Matthew; Jennifer R. Graham; Ashley Nichole Graham; Abigail R. Graham; and Timothy D. Graham; and great-grandson, Gabriel Normand. Charles served in the Navy during the Vietnam War. Member of Acacia Lodge 355 F&AM; Scottish Rite and Jaffa Temple; and LOOM East Conemaugh Eagles American Legion and VFW. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren, the Rev. Phillip King, officiating. Interment, Pine Land Cemetery, Strongstown. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Red Cross (redcross.org) to help the Hurricane Sandy victims, or to Wounded Warriors Project (woundedwarriorproject.org).
